well its good because the dentist will clean them deeply and will make sure there is no junk left there. Bad - because you will tell how much you care of your teeth  :D

It depends on your dentist's Professionalism and the method of cleaning. I would recommend you the following cleaning method by a professional dentist:

Air-flow cleaning:
How is this procedure?
A mixture of cleaning teeth is sprayed in a special way, and then using a special nozzle cleans everything from dental plaque, and then cleaned the teeth wash water spray. By the way, after the procedure is necessary to lubricate the teeth polish teeth for a special extension of the effect of cleaning the teeth.
Dentists state that the method of tooth whitening Airflow is painless and safe, and does not cause any harm to tooth enamel.

Furthermore, the professional dentist will have knowledge of the oral anatomy and principles of patient care.

Causes of enamel erosion: Coffee, tea, cola, red wine, fruit juices, and cigarettes stain the enamel on your teeth. Regular visits to your dentist for routine cleaning and polishing can help remove most surface stains and make sure your teeth stay healthy.

I hope this info is quite enough for your enamal safety and for friends too..

Best Wishes,

Kashif
