How to get rid of saliva after wisdom tooth extraction?
« on: April 04, 2012, 01:48:19 AM »
I know your not suppose to spit, but these gauze pads keep my mouth open and saliva keeps dripping down (I know that sounds disgusting but I'm serious).
Is there any way to stop the saliva from making me miserable? Also, it hurts to swallow; I think I have a soar throat. Is this normal after wisdom tooth extraction? Or should contact some expert like miami wisdom tooth extraction?

You are not suppose to spit in a hard way but you can still spit your saliva gently if you have to, as far as it is hard to swallow and the sore throat, it is most likely it is because of the swelling of the area. if the symptoms worsen then you can have the area checked by your dentist.
