Hi everyone

I have been to Thailand many times but never to CM.

Doing my usual BKK and Phuket holiday but flying up to CM to have a look around.

Fly in lunchtime Thursday 3 January, have 3 full days and fly out lunchtime Monday 7 January. I am staying in the centre of town near all the sights.

This is what I think I want to do:

Day 1: Look around CM - explore- visit temples.
Day 2: visit an elephant sanctuary - not sure which one? Dont really have a massive budget for the most expensive one.
Day 3: Doi Suthep and surrounds - day trip

Anything else I should consider? I am not into shopping or trekking.
