Sukumvit Thonglor area is good because it is on the Skytrain line and in an area with upscale housing on the side sois, much local color, significant Japanese food, a diversity of activities etc.

Anyways, the rainy season start May - October but I think it will be fine for the beginning of May

Buses / How to go from Chiang mai to Chiang rai by bus?

Kinldy, I am new here in thailand on vacation for 2 weeks, I am staying in Chiang Mai with my husband and would love to visit to Chiang Rai, can anybody tell me the bus route??
