Title: Krabi and Phuket. Too rainy in early May?

I'm planning to vacation in Krabi and Phuket in very late April / early May, 2013. Do you think this is already far enough into the rainy season to be a problem? Should I try to reschedule for earlier dates (difficult to do with my business schedule)? Any input will be most appreciated!

You will be fine. The rainy season doesn't start until July. It is worth noting that you will be arriving during Thai summer, which can get extremely hot.

Anyways, the rainy season start May - October but I think it will be fine for the beginning of May :)
