One of my favourite curry dishes in Thailand is Massaman. This is one that I bought for lunch today which comes with beef and a roti. A great combination. This is rather fitting as CNNGO.com have just released their list of the "World's 50 Most Delicious Foods". And guess which takes their number one spot. Yes, Massaman curry from Thailand. This is what they had to say:

Massaman Curry - Emphatically the king of curries, and perhaps the king of all foods. Spicy, coconutty, sweet and savory, its combination of flavors has more personality than a Thai election. Even the packet sauce you buy from the supermarket can make the most delinquent of cooks look like a Michelin potential. This is mouthwatering ;D I tried it once near my guesthouse in Khaosan Road, opposite a white fort. The place is really tiny and always crowded but many kinds of curry to choose with Roti. Yuuuuummy!

Another Massaman lover here! I have to pay like, 5-800bht for one in the UK, and they are not as good.

Oh well, have one for me (with extra lumps)

I'll pay whatever for good food.....Don't care if its cheap or expensive, just as long as its good.

The best and cheap Massaman I can remember was in Ramkhamhaeng food court.

You can get very inexpensive and good Masaman at NO ONE RESTAURANT , which is located a street away from TANO RD after Khao San Rd . Its on the same street as MAE KAIDEE"S Vegetarian restaurant which also makes masamans.
NO ONE restaurant also has inexpensive drinks like tea or coffee for 10 about 10 baht.
